Christy Griffin, New President of SFVS, Speaks at Wellness Central

Christy Griffin, the new president of the San Francisco Veg Society, gave a talk at Wellness Central this past Wednesday evening, and I think all of us were impressed by how this young woman manages to take on so much while maintaining her equilibrium and relating to everyone in a warm and friendly way. She is also the president of the California Congress for Animals. She used to be the business manager for Veg News and ran Vegan Burger in the Haight. Right now she's a dogwalker. I think she'll be very effective in making more people aware of the connection of our diet with animal welfare, the environment, social justice, and our health.
