I've been going through my choice articles pertaining to vegan choices. This one was in an article on how obsessions work as a coping mechanism.
Isn't it notable that a Black man is making this comment--and this choice: "The media loves to show Black grief. Yes there's pain. And yes, I just made this deliciously decadent blueberry lemonade pound cake that is fully vegan. That is equally important to me..."
I think he asking to be considered a full person, not just another Black victim.
Who understand better than a Black person the concept of treating sentient beings like things?
